Congratulations to Dave Davies

In 1990 Dave Davies decided to take a break from bowling. 17 years later Dave came into Aloma Lanes Pro shop ready to step back on to the lanes. Dave has worked extremely hard to improve his game since April 2007. Dave continues to work with 2 coaches Kendra Gaines and myself to become a very competitive bowler. On October 29, 2008 at Aloma Lanes Mr. Davies shot games of 266, 258, and 279 for a very impressive 803. While shooting his series Dave hit Aloma’s  Strike Pot and Super Strike Pot for a nice little chunk of change. It is his first USBC honor score and I am proud to have drill the Brunswick BVP Sidewinder he used.

July 31, 2008

I started out feeling a little rushed because I was busy right up until practice. After only 4 practice shots I decided to use my Brunswick Smash Zone. First game started ok even with my timing feeling a little off, but rebound quickly to finish with 235. The second game felt a little better as I started with the front 6, but I could only muster a 251. Third game got a little tricky as my ball reaction started to fade. After 2 opens within the first 5 frames I changed balls and started using the Brunswick Ultra Zone to save what could have been a disastrous last game. I shot 199 last game to end the night with 685.
