Storm’s Tropical Heat

The Tropical Heat generates tremendous length and strong move to the pocket on high friction lane surfaces. It will be a good fit for anyone looking to add a ball to help overcome lightly oiled lanes.

Are you ready to set the lanes ablaze? Well now you can with the new Storm Tropical Heat!

First, Storm added a Hybrid version of the proven Reactor reactive coverstock, known for such balls as the Agent, Spit Fire and Fired Up. Next, they wrapped it around the Turbine Core, the engine inside the Fast, Furious and Natural. This combo is HOT! Whether this is your first reactive ball, or you're an advanced player looking for an option on drier conditions, give the Tropical Heat a shot!

The Storm Tropical Heat Black/Silver is currently selling for $94.99 and rates a 170.1 on the bowlingball.com Perfect Scale®.

Roto Grip Grenade

The conventional urethane covers are making a comeback. This Ball should allow you to stay in the game on lighter volumes of oil and shorter patterns. The Grenade should be a good complement to the Dark star and Riot.

Are shorter oil patterns stopping you in your tracks? Sometime reactive resin is just too much ball. That's where urethane Grenade comes in!

The Retrothane is a traditional urethane coverstock that will help you tame even the most scorching lane conditions. As witnessed on the PBA Tour and in World Championship events, urethane is still effective today.

With a medium RG (2.58) and medium differential (.040), the Photon core utilized in both the newly released Riot and Dark Star, is the perfect foundation for the new Grenade.

Redefine your arsenal with the new Grenade and know that no matter what they throw at you, Roto Grip has you covered.

Mutant Cell Pearl

It may look familiar but it is definitely different. The Mutant Cell Pearl is designed to create more length than the original and more angle on the backend. This should be a good ball motion from Roto Grip.

The Evolution of Technology continues to Mutate! Introducing the Roto Grip Mutant Cell Pearl.

The newest addition to the Cell series and the ever popular Crown line is showing what technology can really do for ball reaction.

The Nucleus II core with its higher RG value and increased intermediate differential creates a much more defined breakpoint than the original, but still features the predictability that has made the Cell line so popular.

Enhancing that motion even further is the Cytoplasmic XL pearl reactive coverstock. The combination of increased surface topography and enhanced friction values delivers stronger mid-lane traction with extreme entry angle to the pocket.

Get ready for the most radical Cell of them all!

The Roto Grip Mutant Cell Pearl is currently selling for $129.99 and rates a 218.4 on the bowlingball.com Perfect Scale®.

Brunswick Avalanche Pearl Urethane

The Avalanche urethane will fit into any arsenal to help tackle those short patterns or light oil volumes. The Teal Rhino Pro light bulb core gives the Avalanche a good controllable ball motion. It is a great piece to help round out your arsenal.
They say, "if you wait long enough everything comes back in style." Well this holds true in bowling as well. Urethane coverstocks are all the rage right now, and add another dimension to your bowling arsenal. Introducing the Avalanche Urethane Pearl!

Urethane Coverstock

The Avalanche Blue/Purple Pearl uses a retro Urethane coverstock. Designed for extra length and a smooth predictable ball motion the Avalanche Urethane is designed for lighter amounts of oil and a more down the boards line to the pocket.

Teal Rhino Pro Light Bulb Core

All Avalanche balls use the acclaimed Teal Rhino Pro light bulb core. The Teal Rhino Pro light bulb core has been at the heart of some of the most successful balls of all time.

Ball Motion

With its High Gloss Polish surface the Avalanche Urethane will match-up well on dry to medium-dry lane conditions. Shiny surface finishes sometimes cause the ball to go too long before breaking. If your Avalanche Urethane goes too long, dull the surface with progressively rougher abrasives to increase hooking action. The Avalanche Urethane is at its maximum length surface preparation. If your Avalanche Urethane hooks too early, you will need to use a less aggressive ball, such as Brunswick's T Zone Polyester to create more length.

Reaction Setup

The Avalanche Urethane can be drilled using the standard drilling techniques developed for symmetric bowling balls.

Lightweight Engineering

At Brunswick, the unique core shape of each individual ball is used for weights from 12 to 16 pounds. This approach to lightweight ball engineering provides bowlers with consistent ball reaction characteristics across this weight range.

The Brunswick Avalanche Urethane is currently selling for $99.99 and rates a 121.5 on the bowlingball.com Perfect Scale®
